Du Quoin State Fair Tickets and Events
The DuQuoin State Fair is a yearly celebration, focusing on the styles of farming and nation music, Hosted by the U.S. state of Illinois on a 1,200-acre fairground website surrounding to the southern Illinois town of Du Quoin. The DuQuoin Fair was arranged in 1923 by regional designer William R. “W.R.” Hayes. Beginning with a half-mile track, the designer ultimately developed the mile-long DuQuoin State Fairgrounds Racetrack on the fairgrounds.
With the departure of the Hambletonian, the DuQuoin Fair was and dealt with financial difficulties taken over from the economic sector in the 1980s by the state of Illinois.
